Rainbow Catering is locally owned and operated right here in the Pacific Northwest. Born and raised in Seattle, chef and owner Michael R. Bates graduated from the culinary arts school at Seattle Central Community College. He has been in the food industry for over 20 years and has worked in some of the area’s finest restaurants including Elliott’s Oyster House, Alki Bakery & Café, Harbor Club, The Butcher, Latitude 47, and Maribou.

Now with his own catering company he brings his experience and dedication to fine cuisine to you. You can have a taste of a wide range of wonderful flavors from around the world with his knowledge of ethnic, regional, Pan-Asian, and local cuisine.
